Mindfulness & Movement Resources for Teachers & Parents

I taught in the classroom for 13 years and incorporated yoga and mindfulness into my curriculum. I offer yoga and mindfulness for all ages and abilities. There are many social and emotional benefits that stem from learning yoga. The amount of time can vary, depending on their ages and needs.

Yoga and mindfulness can help bring happiness and positive health effects to better cope with stress, or anxiety.

Working with children on mindfulness and breathing can help them to become more aware of their thoughts and feelings in the present moment. Mindfulness teaches children how to better self-regulate, reduces behavioral issues, and their attentiveness improves in the classroom.
